Well, was kinda in an artblock, then after watching all my game fmvs/cutscene video collection, I stopped at FF7 Crisis Core's ending scene.

I once did an artwork of the ending of Zack's point of view when he died, so this is sorta Cloud's part of the ending when he screamed after realizing Zack is gone. Though I don't think he cried, but I added the tears anyway, to make this more dramatic.

Also trying out a different style of colouring than my usual colourful, bright and high contrast style.

Well, back to preparing for teh Comic Fiesta 08.

Such a sad part in Crisis Core, I cried when first saw the ending and I still do cry whenever I see it or think about it.

Anyway, this is very beautiful fanart, well done!

The ending scene was a tough one to get through. You think to yourself, "Oh, it won't be that bad -- we all knew it was coming down to this." But when you actually get there, and when you're finally confronted with it, it stops mattering how much you've conditioned yourself to be prepared. You still weep like a child at the very end before turning the page to get to the next chapter... :sniff:

This is a lovely piece -- and so very, very appropriate. :heart:
