I COULD NOT RESIST the temptation to draw something like what Tetsuya Nomura did for FF8.
But seriously, I didn't just want to learn to draw portraits with a little realism, I was trying to improve my face anatomy, plus trying pick the right colours better. And basically, it kinda worked, and I just need more practice than this of course. But still, I can't really let go of my anime style since I've been drawing anime style for years, so big eyes are still there. So for those who don't know who these guys are, they are my characters for my FF7 fancomic, ~DawnOfMelodies. From left; Freya, Lance, Nina, Elicia and Honzo.
