PHEW, glad that's out.

I love Black Rock Shooter, even if it is just a dark version of Miku. Too bad I missed the Figma, really need to save my money for it ><

The anime was a 50/50 for me, the fighting scene was definitely more than awesome and the animation is nice but maybe the whole scenic and calming storyline about friendship and all was a tad slow, not saying I hate it, but it's not thrilling, especially when the scenes were sandwiched like fight scene, school scene, fight scene, school scene and so forth.

Anywho, finally an artwork from me.

Not gonna post anything accept commissions after this, is planning on drawing doujinshis to sell during events, currently in mind is a comedy chibi doujin on Devil May Cry with cameos from other random games, and a short filler story doujin of Kamen Riders. I got an artist to collad for the Devil May Cry one, will have to contact her for progress first.

Well, yeah, Black Rock Shooter, enjoy~~

Btw, I tend to draw mature women so that's why she's older than she looks lol.

to me the main point it was trying to show wasn't really about friendship. it was showing what time can do to relationships of any kind. y'know, people die, move, friendships that where once close slowly drift apart, and the peoples unwillingness to let it happen. hence why mato and yomi where sad when they got seperated in their classes. why yomi was depressed when mato became friends with yuu. why there was a time skip, to show the passage of time and its effect.

it had subtly. there is not enough of it in any form of media. its all in your face about how each characters feeling with long winded inner monologues and speeches. telling how you should feel it. when you should feel it. getting philosophical at every turn. i was watching them just talking and having a good time. they become friends, and they have a little heart to heart during the sunset, then things go back to happy. story doesn't dwell on it. shit starts happening, and yomi goes missing and i'm actually like "noooo, yomi!" like theres a kitten stuck in a tree. instead of "wonder what happens next" like a person at a carnival to see if the sword swallower chokes to death.

all because it didn't take the cake and shove it down my gullet. no, it gave me the cake (the emotional bits), trusted i would take a bite to see if i liked it. i take a bite, i like it, then i'm invited to some more delicious cake. the fact that i cared about the characters genuinely made the fight climax more epic. I guess i'm just sick and tired of the try hard attack on titan's, SAO's, and BRS (TV)'s.

I'd go on how i think they made the right call with the way they split the fight scenes but i think i've rambled on enough XD.
